This site requires a 6.0+ browser for the pictures/text to display correctly. If you have an older version of Netscape, Explorer, or AOL, the text will appear cut off and the pictures distorted.
Can't see everything without scrolling: the NYC JPG page is designed to fit entirely in your window, provided your screen resolution is set to at least 800x600. You shouldn't have to scroll to see the picture. Make sure your window is maximized.
Scrolling: If you have Explorer or AOL (recent version), and a mouse with a scroll wheel, you should be able to move the mouse anywhere over the text box below the picture, and scroll it with the wheel, so you can still see the picture while reading.
Picture frame "broken"/appearance issues: Older browsers may not recognize the "cascading stylesheet" used to keep the size of text consistent, and use large text for the date or caption, ruining the table alignment so that the bottom or right edge no longer meets. Also they may have problems with the sidebar image ... Please try a newer browser.
Free wallpaper: Most of the Current Feature pages have a large version of the main picture, which you can make your wallpaper by first clicking on it to download, then right-clicking and choosing "Set as Background".
To make nycjpg.com your home page: while at the page, in Explorer, Tools / Internet Options / Use Current. In Netscape, Edit / Preferences / Use Current Page. In AOL, under Internet Preferences / Home Page / Use Current.
General Techical Info: Page design of this site is done in Adobe Photoshop and exported to to HTML via PhotoShop's "Save for Web" command. Day-to-day production is done with Macromedia Dreamweaver and Homesite. The page is hosted via Yahoo! Domains.
