Carl Paul Jennewein made these figures for the British Empire Building at Rockefeller Center. Above it (2-jpg) is the Royal Coat of Arms -- the Rube wondered why the motto would be in French -- Dieu Et Mon Droit -- but BritainUSA.com explains it dates from Henry V -- the one that married the French woman.
