Taking pictures, Times Square

Theme: The New York Experience. Notes by Roving Rube.

This week the Rube turned NYCJPG's new long lens on humans instead of architecture. Standing on the island in the middle of Times Square, he focused on people across Seventh and Broadway, and on tour buses going by. He was amazed by the results, which we have been seeing over the past several days. He had always been perfectly happy sticking with pictures of "things" before this. But now he can imagine himself equally happy just doing people.
