Notes (Roving Rube): Other than to say this is some kind of decorative artwork, the Rube doesn't know anything about this piece. It's a lot better than just leaving a blank brick wall there, though.
In Context shows the scale of it; Alternate View shows it changes colors from the opposing point of view, and Detail, shot from below, shows that they are semi-transparent mirrors or prisms or something.
The Art Deco folks back in the thirties, who believed light and prisms had magical powers, would have loved to get their hands on these. Perhaps the top of the Chrysler building would have been one color from Jersey, another from Queens ...
