Notes (Roving Rube): Bad Panavue! Bad, bad Panavue! Photomerge would never make such a stupid mistake!

The Rube has been experimenting with Panavue and Photomerge, two "photo-stitching" programs, over the last several days.

The Rube now remembers the thing that bugged him about Panavue from the last time he was using it is that often it has trouble distinguishing which are the repeated elements in a series, requiring the normally impatient Rube to drag these little numbered and colored flags around on the pictures to show Panavue what should be perfectly obvious.

Oh well, Panavue is still probably better than Photomerge. It probably just outsmarts itself.

Often digital cameras come with their own brand of photo-stitching software on the CD that comes with them, so be sure to check for it. It may be tailored to the particular camera.
