Notes (Roving Rube): The Rube was very curious about this strange building, but was afraid to go in because there was no sign saying what it was or anything.

Luckily, his sister and her boyfriend paid a visit and announced they were staying way to the west on 56th St, at the Hudson. As they walked there in the evening, they saw a tall flame licking against the side of a building, and it turned out to be this one! You can see the scorch marks from the torch next to the door.
