Girl from Holland, "It's a Small World" house, Dyker Heights, Brooklyn

Theme: The Lights of Dyker Heights. Notes by Roving Rube.

The Rube was fortunate enough to take Justin Ferate's Holiday tour of Dyker Heights again this year -- for last year's coverage, see NYCJPG 12/15/02 thru 12/24/02. Three of his pictures from that series are published in a book available for this Christmas, "Holiday Lights!".

These pictures are from a house with a display of dolls of children from all over the world, each in their native costume and usually with some attributes of their home county -- here, the tulip and windmill.

Some are riding on a ferris wheel, others are in hot air balloons.
