Gilded Beasts , 57W. 57th Street

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This building is perhaps best known as the place where the Rube goes to the dentist.

However, since he always enters the building from 57th St., he never happened to notice these monsters, which are above the Seventh Ave. entrance (see 3-jpg). Until today, when he followed the trail of gilding around the corner to see what else he could photograph for this series.
