Rube's Notes:

What a difference a label makes!

Yes, the Rube is repeating himself from yesterday, but he really does see the sculpture differently now, knowing its name. If you didn't already know it was eyes, what else might Fig. 1 remind you of?

Both "eyes" have bare patches of dirt in front and along the side, perhaps from people's feet when they sit on the eyes to get their pictures taken, but it is interesting how the patch at left here has a further indentation in the center, as if someone was putting a ski pole there.
