The 23rd New York International Orchid Show ends today after a 5-day run in the concourse of Rockefeller Center. Considering this page is being posted at noon, that doesn't give you a whole lot of time to get dressed and come over to check it out. Oh well, we didn't find out about it 'til yesterday ourselves.

If these photos, those by Tara Catalino two weeks ago, or the movie "Adaptation" turn you into an orchid fan, you may wish to join the Greater New York Orchid Society, the organizers of this show, which has run for 23 years, the last two of them at Rockefeller Center. That way you'd get more advance notice of these sorts of things.
